I Hear America Singing

After reading I Hear America Singing tones of admiration and contentment jumped out at me.  Walt Whitman speaks of the hard work that everyone in America does without complaint. About how they almost enjoy working.  He says all of this as if he's someone looking over the country admiring all the things that people do and how they live.
